Nadia Baranchuk, MD

Ultrasound Director

Dr. Nadia Baranchuk is an attending physician at Southside Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Baranchuk attended Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in NYC. After finishing her residency training Dr. Baranchuk then completed her fellowship in point-of-care emergency ultrasound at Mount Sinai West/ Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital. Following her fellowship, she joined the Southside Hospital family in 2017.

Dr. Baranchuk is originally from Belarus (yes that country exists, look it up :-)) and immigrated to the US when she was 12 years old. She mainly grew up in Brooklyn, NY where she currently lives with her husband, son and their dog. Dr. Baranchuk loves to travel, enjoys watching and playing soccer, as well as spending time with family and friends.
